You better get this fixed, or else I will say “please”!
One of the European groups that I work with has had ongoing problems with some software. The vendor seems unwilling to fix what needs to be fixed and/or discount our fees for pain and suffering. This group hasn’t been able to use the software for almost 6 months now, and this on top of having been a customer reference to help the vendor get other companies to give them money.
Finally, it’s time for scotchneat to step in and kick some vendor butt. They think we North Americans are aggressive by nature, so I’ll be playing to type. Anyway, I asked my group manager to set up a meeting with the vendor account manager’s boss so we can play hardball.
Which he did, in an email that began Dear Mr —– and ended with Kindest regards,
Is this a European thing? That’s no way to start a fight!
